Convention Center and Hotel: The Regal Plaza development at 105th & Memorial has brought 120,000 square feet of retail shopping along with a multipurpose Spirit Bank Event Center and Hampton Inn and Suites Hotel. In the heart of The Shoppes of Regal Plaza you will find the latest and greatest of the South Tulsa/Bixby Area innovations. This multipurpose facility greets guests in a multitude of exciting events such as concerts, conventions, corporate, and sporting events. The 165,000 square foot Event Center includes office suites, retail, multipurpose meeting rooms, and of course the exciting 5,000 seat arena...home of the Tulsa 66ers.

Bentley Park Sports Complex: A 100 acre park located on the south bank of the Arkansas River east of Memorial, is currently under construction and will be one of the best youth parks in Oklahoma. The Bentley Park Sports Complex currently features two quads of baseball, and quad of softball, an international soccer field and twelve youth soccer fields. Coming soon will be the addition of a super playground and splash pad, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball, bocce courts, and walking trails connecting to the main walking trails by the Arkansas River.
Lake Bixhoma: Located about 5 miles southeast of Bixby on Leonard Mountain, is a gorgeous City lake that is a great fishing spot. A low wake zone is enforced, so the lake is primarily used for fishing.
White Hawk Golf Course: Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the 18-hole White Hawk Golf Course, which includes a Pro Shop, Grill and Pavilion for your golfing or non-golfing events.
Washington Irving Memorial Park: At the Memorial Bridge across from the Arkansas River, Washington Irving Memorial Park and Arboretum is one of Bixby's most beautiful gems. The site of the annual BBQ 'n Blues Festival, this park boasts walking trails and is a nature lovers dream with a variety of trees and bird watching, along with the Laci Dawn Hill butterfly garden. Visit the sacred memorials from the Oklahoma City Murrah Building bombing and the 9/11 World Trade Center terrorist attack. The architecture in the park is designed to replicate the home of the famed author Washington Irving who spent some time in Bixby during his Tour of the Prairies.
Haikey Creek Park: This Tulsa County Park borders Bixby and Broken Arrow at 121st and Garnett. Haikey Creek maintains 151 acres of picnic shelters with tables and grills, playground equimpment, restrooms, fantastic jogging path, fitness court, disc golf course, 3 lighted softball fields with concession stand, 4 lighted tennis courts and 4 soccer fields.
BBQ'n Blues Festival: One of the most popular events in Bixby happens in May. The Rotary Club of Bixby coordinates this barbeque competition, music, and thousands of attendees creating two days of family fun, all for charity that furthers community development. Bixby's BBQ'n Music Festival is located at the Washington Irving Memorial Park.
Green Corn Festival: This annual festival in June is a kick back to the good old fashion family oriented picnics. The Green Corn Festival, sponsored by Bixby Optimist Club, features great music, arts, food, bingo, parade, carnival rides and games. Contests like Frog and Turtle Races, Horseshe Pitching, Corn Eating, Sack Rack & many more are a highlight for kids and adults alike! The festival is held in downtown Bixby at Charley Young Park. |
